体内实验PAR 4 (1-6) (GYPGQV) 促进平滑肌细胞 (SMC) 中的[3H]-胸腺嘧啶掺入。在500 μM浓度时，该肽将DNA合成提高到对照的2.5倍。与分别用10 nM 的凝血酶或100 μM的SFLLRN刺激SMC所得到的类似的促增殖效果相当。
